Ruler of Earth

One clear spring day in 1996, while sitting in Mr. Moore's AP U.S. History Class at Warren Central High School, Jeffrey Coleman Carlyle appointed himself Ruler of Earth. Later that day, Jeff decreed that all of Earth's governments should continue their normal operation. Jeff would be a hands off ruler.

Soon after that day, Jeff took to the Internet to spread the word that he was now Earth's ruler.

One may perhaps question the strength of Jeff's claim to rule Earth; however, there is historical precedence for this method of obtaining power. Napoleon appointed himself Emperor of France. His claim was backed up by the power of the French army, and Jeff's claim is backed up by the power of this Internet domain. Clearly, this means that Jeffrey Coleman Carlyle is the ruler of Earth.
